A VOZ DOS ESTUDANTES DE AGRONOMIA IMPRESSA NAS PÁGINAS DO JORNAL “O BONDE” (1945-1963)

O artigo analisa a visão de mundo dos estudantes de agronomia apresentada nas páginas do
jornal “O Bonde” (1945–1963). Publicado em sua maior parte durante a vigência da Universidade
Rural do Estado de Minas Gerais (1949-1969), esse semanário teve 238 edições que, circularam
no período de interregno democrático no Brasil, após o fim da ditadura getulista do “Estado
Novo” (1937-1945) até o final de 1963, numa conjuntura social, política, econômica e cultural,
imediatamente anterior ao golpe militar de 1964. A investigação objetivou estabelecer a história
serial, as predominâncias e as recorrências temáticas deste jornal, analisando as matérias que
apresentam fatos relacionados ao cotidiano dos estudantes e suas representações sobre as questões
sociais e educacionais de âmbito local, regional e nacional, com o intuito de identificar as mudanças
e permanências no teor destas discussões.

Resumo Inglês:

The article analyzes the agronomy students’ vision of the world presented in the pages of the
periodical “O Bonde” (1945-1963). Published, mostly, during the existence of the Universidade
Rural do Estado de Minas Gerais [Agricultural State University of Minas Gerais ] (1949-1969), this
weekly had 238 editions that had circulated in the democratic interregno period in Brazil, after
the end of Getúlio Vargas’ “New State” (1937-1945) dictatorship, until the end of 1963; in a
social, politics, economic and cultural conjuncture, immediately previous to the 1964 military
coup. The inquiry objectified to establish serial history, the predominance and the thematic
recurrences of this periodical, analyzing the matters which present facts related to students’
quotidian and its representations on social matters and local, regional and national scope
educational, intending to identify the changes and permanence in the content of these discussions.
