Resumo Português:

Este texto descreve uma atividade de simulação de utilização das funções receita e lucro do
segundo grau e custo do primeiro grau, com as correspondentes conseqüências para a
construção de conceitos matemáticos, a percepção da importância do trabalho em grupo
e o forte apelo à interdisciplinaridade. Os dados coletados e apresentados foram obtidos
através de observações sistemáticas feitas pelo professor, em função de um questionário
elaborado sobre as características principais a serem avaliadas. A análise dos dados foi realizada com base em teorias de aprendizagem colaborativa, das falas e das atitudes dos alunos, que mostravam como esses tratavam a informação e a construção de conceitos de
Administração e Matemática envolvidos nas tarefas. Os resultados mostram a importância
da significação do conteúdo para o aluno, das relações interdisciplinares e do trabalho
colaborativo de aprendizagem.

This paper account an activity of simulation of income and profit function of the second
degree and cost function of the first degree and their utilization, with the corresponding
consequence for construct of mathematics concepts, the importance of the perception a
group work and the strong appeal to interdisciplinary aspect. The collected and showed
data were obtained through of systematic observations made for teacher, at function of
questionnaire elaborated about the main characteristics to be evaluated. The analyses of
data were made with basis on theories of collaborative learning, the student’s speeches
and their attitudes, which showed how these treat the information and the construction of
Administration and Mathematics concepts involved on tasks. The results show the
importance of contents signification for the student, the interdisciplinary aspects of relation
and learning collaborative work.
