Uma mulher acolhida e perdoada por Jesus: um estudo de Lc 7,36-50

Somente Lucas narra a passagem em que Jesus está participando de uma refeição na casa de um fariseu e uma mulher, pecadora e sem nome, entra na casa (Lc 7,36-50). A mulher chora e com suas lágrimas lava os pés de Jesus e enxuga-os com os seus cabelos. Diante da indignação do fariseu, Jesus conta a parábola dos dois devedores perdoados, ensinando que quem demonstra muito amor, recebe mais perdão. Este artigo pretende analisar e interpretar esta passagem bíblica para entender a realidade desta mulher e de outras mulheres na mesma condição na época de Jesus. O gesto praticado por Jesus é rico de significado para a sociedade da sua época e, ao mesmo tempo, é possível atualizar esta mensagem para a realidade de hoje. O texto bíblico motiva para uma vivência misericordiosa e com compaixão diante das pessoas marginalizadas que sofrem discriminações. É a prática do amor e do perdão que é capaz de integrar e redimir as pessoas, diferente das atitudes preconceituosas que excluem e marginalizam.

Luke is the only one to narrate the scene where Jesus is having a meal at a Pharisee’s house, and a woman, a sinner without name, enters the house (Lk 7, 36-50). The woman cries and with her tears she washes and wipes his feet with her hair. Before the Pharisee’s indignation Jesus tells a parable on the two forgiven debtors, teaching that whoever shows love, receives more forgiveness. This work analyses and interprets this biblical text in order to understand that woman reality and the reality of other women in Jesus’ time. Jesus’ gesture is rich in meaning to that time society and, at the same time, it is possible to think this message nowadays. The biblical text motivates to a merciful and compassionate way of life before people who suffer prejudices. It is the practice of love and forgiveness that enables people to be redeemed, different than attitudes that exclude and marginalize.
