UM OUTRO OLHAR SOBRE O DIFERENTE

Resumo Português:

Tendo como referência que a maior parte dos alunos se mantém distantes dos problemas à sua
volta e ainda faz interpretações imediatistas e fragmentadas destes e das relações que estabelece onde
vive, este artigo apresenta o projeto realizado pela 6º série do Ensino Fundamental do Colégio Marista
Santo Ângelo que teve como tema: “Um outro olhar sobre o diferente”. Este projeto visa partilhar o
conhecimento; respeitar as diferenças, sentir um pouco as limitações com as quais as pessoas com
deficiência convivem e ao mesmo tempo valorizá-los. Desse modo, os alunos construiram o
conhecimento de forma organizada e não fragmentada, estabelecendo novos vínculos e valores com a
realidade, aprofundando os diversos saberes e linguagens, convivendo afetivamente com as diferenças,
para que a partir da comunicação, possam intervir no mundo em que vivem. Contudo, percebeu-se que
os alunos refletiram e deram mais valor a tudo aquilo que eles possuem. O “ser solidário” e não
individualista, se colocar no lugar do outro, foram valores que, com certeza, eles jamais esquecerão.

With reference to the majority of students remain distant from the problems around them and
still make interpretations on immediate and fragmented them and their relationships where you live, this
article presents the design done by the 6th grade on the Marist College St. Angelo whose theme was:
“Another look at the different.” This project aims to share knowledge, respect differences, to feel
somewhat the constraints under which people with disabilities live and at the same time valuing them.
Thus, students construct knowledge in an organized manner and not piecemeal, establishing new ties
and values with the reality, deepening the diverse knowledge and languages, living affectively with the
differences, so that from the communication, may engage the world in which live. However, it was
noticed that the students reflected on and gave more value to everything they have. The "being
supportive" and not individualistic, putting yourself in the other, values that were, surely, they will
never forget.
