O artigo identifica e relaciona os períodos da Transformação Militar com os posicionamentos acerca do emprego do Carro de Combate no pós-Guerra Fria. Objetiva contribuir para o debate acadêmico sobre a importância desse material e para a geração de poder de combate pelo Ministério da Defesa brasileiro.
The article identifies and relates the periods of Military Transformation with the positions on the use of the Main Battle Tank in the post-Cold War period. It aims to contribute to the academic debate about the importance of the material and the generation of combat power by the Brazilian Ministry of Defence.
