TRAJETÓRIAS MIGRATÓRIAS, PROJETOS ARTÍSTICOS E PRÁTICAS INTELECTUAIS DE HAITIANOS NO BRASIL

Este artigo tem como objetivo dialogar sobre a criação artística e intelectual de imigrantes haitianos no Brasil. A partir das letras das músicas “Eu gosto do Brasil” e “Quando eu cheguei aqui”, dos cantores haitianos Alix Georges e  Guerby Cherry, bem como a partir do livro “(Re)construindo um sonho” escrito pelo imigrante haitiano Jac-SSone Alerte, analisamos a atuação do sujeito imigrante intelectual e artista sob a perspectiva do engajamento para a manutenção dos laços culturais que se estabelecem entre os imigrantes haitianos com sua terra natal. Para tanto, além da teoria da migração transnacional e reflexões sobre o conceito de intelectual proposto por Gramsci, recorremos aos teóricos pós-coloniais, tal como Bhabha (1998) no sentido de realizar uma análise sobre a subalternidade e representação do sujeito imigrante. Embora este artigo não seja o resultado final de uma pesquisa- e sim os primeiros achados de uma tese em construção- consideramos que esse campo que delimitamos para estudo é promissor e tem muito a contribuir para os estudos migratórios no Brasil, o que nos motiva a continuar o trabalho. Há muitas produções artísticas e intelectuais de imigrantes haitianos que foram (e são) produzidas no Brasil. Nessas obras, são nítidos o hibridismo cultural e a pluralidade. Em nossa análise sobre as músicas “Eu Gosto do Brasil” e “Quando eu Cheguei aqui”, percebemos e dialogamos sobre as relações sociais que são estabelecidas pelos imigrantes no processo de inserção na sociedade brasileira. As produções artísticas e intelectuais dos imigrantes haitianos estão vinculadas à realização do projeto migratório que estabeleceram para si mesmos.

This article aims to discuss the artistic and intellectual creation of Haitian immigrants in Brazil. From Haitian singers Alix Georges and Guerby Cherry, as well as from the book "(Re) Building a Dream" written by the Haitian immigrant Jac -SSone from the songs "I like Brazil" and "When I came here" Alert, we analyze the performance of the subject intellectual immigrant and artist from the perspective of the engagement for the maintenance of the cultural bonds that are established between the Haitian immigrants with their homeland. For this, in addition to the theory of transnational migration and reflections on the concept of intellectual proposed by Gramsci, we resort to postcolonial theorists, such as Bhabha (1998) in the sense of performing an analysis on the subalternity and representation of the immigrant subject. Although this article is not the end result of a research - but rather the first findings of a thesis under construction - we consider that this field we delimit for study is promising and has much to contribute to migratory studies in Brazil, which motivates us continue the work. There are many artistic and intellectual productions of Haitian immigrants who were (and are) produced in Brazil. In these works, cultural hybridity and plurality are clear. In our analysis of the songs "I like Brazil" and "When I got here", we perceive and dialogue about the social relations that are established by the immigrants in the process of insertion in Brazilian society. The artistic and intellectual productions of the Haitian immigrants are linked to the realization of the migratory project that they established for themselves.
