Along the history it has been a constant the search of a system of social
organization in which there are not conditions of misery for the population’s
part, in the one that all can have access to some services of health, to an
education, to a housing, to a worthy work, a society where the political
class is not a class oppressor, interested mainly in obtaining benefits
through the exaction of taxes. It is surprising that these questions continue
being still a desideratum, since they have been numerous the intents
and proposals along the centuries dedicated to find a commendable
solution. In the time of economic crisis that we are living in this last year,
the proposals of a society model resurge with force and of State that is
able to provide to the citizens conditions of well-being and quality of life.
They are very diverse the theories that have tried to offer a diverse form
of conceiving the society, the politics, the religion, the right etc., each
one of them with more or smaller fortune. We cannot extend now in a
comparative study among the main ones. In and of itself, we have opted
to reflect some of the most significant aspects in the utopian doctrines,
based on the community property that you/they have been formulated
along the history. They are brief brushstrokes but that we trust they allow
to offer a reflection mark on that good societies, free and equitable to the
one that, in the XXI century, we continue aspiring.

A lo largo de la historia ha sido una constante la búsqueda de un sistema
de organización social en el que no haya condiciones de miseria para
una parte de la población, en el que todos puedan tener acceso a
unos servicios de salud, a una educación, a una vivienda, a un trabajo
digno, una sociedad donde la clase política no sea una clase opresora,
interesada principalmente en obtener beneficios a través de la exacción
de impuestos. Resulta sorprendente que estas cuestiones sigan siendo
todavía un desideratum, ya que han sido numerosos los intentos y
propuestas a lo largo de los siglos destinadas a encontrar una solución
plausible. En la época de crisis económica que estamos viviendo en
este último año, resurgen con fuerza las propuestas de un modelo de
sociedad y de Estado que sea capaz de proporcionar a los ciudadanos
condiciones de bienestar y calidad de vida.Son muy diversas las teorías
que han intentado ofrecer una forma diversa de concebir la sociedad, la
política, la religión, el derecho etc., cada una de ellas con mayor o menor
fortuna. No podemos extendernos ahora en un estudio comparativo
entre las principales. Por ello, hemos optado por reflejar algunos de los
aspectos más significativos de las doctrinas utópicas, basadas en la
comunidad de bienes, que se han formulado a lo largo de la historia.
Son breves pinceladas pero que confiamos permitan ofrecer un marco de
reflexión sobre esa optima societate, libre e igualitaria a la que, en el siglo
XXI, seguimos aspirando.
