Este artigo pretende historicizar a emergência do olhar da Escola Fisiocrata sobre o "mundo rural" europeu da segunda metade do século XVIII. A Escola Fisiocrata influenciou a constituição do conhecimento científico sobre a natureza, oferecendo o esse saber apoio filosófico. A história do pensamento fisiocrata constitui-se, dessa forma, como exemplo do conhecimento moderno sobre a natureza.

This article aims to historicize the emergence of the Physiocratic School 's view on the european "rural world" of the second half of the eighteenth century This hod had influence in the constitution of a scientific knowledge on nature, offering to this one phylosophical support. Physiocrotic though 's history is due to an example of modern knowledge about nature.
