Trata-se de uma reflexão acerca do manifesto político Transfiguração de Olivier de Sagazan, realizada após entrevista com o artista, em França. A partir desta obra, discute-se aspectos da identidade humana observadas na expressividade da máscara de argila, que serão aprofundados durante o percurso do Mestrado em Teatro. Através da máscara de argila são desenvolvidas questões sobre a obra Transfiguração como prática de si e a máscara como desvelamento de um sujeito calcificado pelo ritual ordinário. São exploradas relações entre o sujeito e a linguagem, assim como relações entre a carne e a memória.

This is a reflection on the political manifesto of the Transfiguration of Olivier Sagazan, performed after an interview with the artist in France. From this work, we discuss aspects of human identity expression observed in the clay mask, which will be deepened during the course of the MA in Theatre. Through the mask of clay are questions about the work developed as a practice of the Transfiguration and the mask itself as an unveiling of the ritual subject calcified ordinary. It explores relationships between the subject and language, as well as relations between the flesh and memory.
