Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar estrutura conceitual sartriana de literatura engajada. Para tanto, propomos avaliar o modo como o filósofo existencialista compreende a realidade humana, inexoravelmente pelo âmbito da liberdade. Em seguida, demonstraremos que a literatura engajada se ocupa dessa liberdade na condição histórica, mostrando a exigência de que o homem assuma individualmente a responsabilidade e o compromisso pela sua condição e pelo mundo que se encontra inserido. Portanto, iremos analisar de maneira abrangente a peça artística Le Diable et le Bon Dieu de 1951 para uma melhor compreensão do tema.

This paper aims to analyze sartrian conceptual framework of engaged literature. To this end, we propose to evaluate the way the existentialist philosopher understands human reality, inexorably through the scope of freedom. Next, we will demonstrate that engaged literature is concerned with this freedom in the historical condition, showing the requirement that man individually assume responsibility and commitment for his condition and for the world in which he is inserted. Therefore, we will look at the 1951 Le Diable et le Bon Dieu for a better understanding of the subject.
