Sínodo Panamazónico y diálogo: una lectura sincrónica del concepto “Madre Tierra”

The article reads the documents Instrumentum laboris, Final document and post-synodal exhortation Querida Amazonia in the key of dialogue through the controversial concept “Mother Earth”. Using a synchronous reading (at the same time) of the mentioned diachronic texts (written at different times), a transversal interpretation is sought, within the synodal process, as if it were the encounter of two subjects who want to converse and discern. No dialogue is easy, especially considering the differences of the interlocutors, but the encounter with “the different” can lead to mutual enrichment. The “Mother Earth” concept, used by the media as a confrontation during the development of the synod, helps the intercultural meeting and inter–religious dialogue to shape the Amazon face of the Church in those territories. The article wants to show, through the maternal figure, that when there is authentic dialogue, listening and questioning, there can be a growth in mutual knowledge to achieve “what is good”.

El artículo hace una lectura de los documentos Instrumentum laboris, Documento final y exhortación postsinodal Querida Amazonia en clave de diálogo por medio del polémico concepto “Madre Tierra”. Usando una lectura sincrónica (al mismo tiempo) de los mencionados textos diacrónicos (escritos en distinto tiempo) se busca una interpretación transversal, al interno del proceso sinodal, como si se tratara del encuentro de dos sujetos que quieren conversar y discernir. Ningún diálogo es fácil, sobre todo, teniendo en cuenta las diferencias de los interlocutores, pero del encuentro con “el diferente” puede llegarse a un mutuo enriquecimiento. El concepto “Madre Tierra”, usado mediáticamente como una confrontación durante el desarrollo del sínodo, auxilia el encuentro intercultural y el diálogo interreligioso para confeccionar el rostro amazónico de la Iglesia en esos territorios. El artículo quiere mostrar, por medio de la figura materna, que cuando hay auténtico diálogo, escucha e interpelación puede producirse un crecimiento en el conocimiento mutuo para alcanzar “lo bueno”.
