Revista Paranaense de Enfermagem (REPENF): a criação de um veículo de difusão do conhecimento em saúde

Não há espaço para dúvidas que este é um momento marcante para a história do curso de enfermagem da Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Mandaguari (FAFIMAN). Justamente quando se comemora os 10 anos do curso, o departamento se reveste de força e disposição para lançar a Revista Paranaense de Enfermagem (REPEN). Acreditamos que o reconhecimento da pesquisa translacional é relevante para a melhoria da prática(1), bem como a maturidade do curso e a formação científico-acadêmica do corpo docente cooperam para que sejam oportunamente lançadas as bases estruturais para a criação deste veículo de difusão do conhecimento na área da saúde e da enfermagem.

Outrossim, nosso motivador para a criação desta revista está no entendimento de que é necessário proporcionar o compartilhamento de evidências de qualidade por meio de publicações científicas(2). Isto tem potencial para contribuir com o avanço da profissão e melhorar a assistência prestada, ao minimizar as distâncias geográficas e a importância das fronteiras, assim como ao estimular/fomentar a utilização das evidências científicas mais atuais e relevantes na introdução de mudanças que envolvem desde aspecto atinentes à prática cotidiana de trabalho, até aqueles relativos à saúde em âmbito global(3).

Nesse sentido, nossa missão será fomentar a produção e a disseminação do conhecimento da Enfermagem e áreas correlatas para o avanço do conhecimento científico e da prática profissional em saúde, por meio da publicação de artigos com elevado mérito científico. Publicaremos textos inéditos nos idiomas: português e inglês e eventualmente, em espanhol nas categorias: Artigo Original; de Revisão Sistemática; Relato de Experiência; e Ensaio Reflexivo. Destacamos que em decorrência da força da evidência científica as contribuições que se destinam a divulgar resultados de pesquisa original inédita terão prioridade em nossa publicação.

A partir deste primeiro volume publicado na internet, será solicitado junto ao Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia (IBICT) o ISSN (International Standard Seria Number) que consiste em um número internacional normatizado para publicações seriadas. Isto, por sua vez, nos permitirá a indexação em diferentes bases de dados, o que se reflete na ampliação da divulgação dos textos por nós publicados, alcançando um número maior de leitores, no Brasil e no mundo.

Buscando essa difusão mais globalizada, desde a primeira edição também contaremos com a versão em inglês dos artigos na íntegra. Deste modo, será possível que leitores e pesquisadores de diferentes nacionalidades possam ter acesso às informações contidas nos textos publicados, dando maior visibilidade às pesquisas veiculadas por nós, o que tem potencial para impactar na prática assistencial, no ensino e também na pesquisa.

Por fim, reiteramos que é sabido que para além de um momento de alegria e satisfação para todos os envolvidos neste projeto com a publicação de nossa revista, tem-se ao mesmo tempo, a plena convicção que muito trabalho está por vir. Assim, desafios constantes nos esperam. Contudo, quando há perseverança, trabalho em equipe e vontade de cooperar para o avanço científico da enfermagem os obstáculos podem ser superados um a um.

Agradecemos o interesse dos pesquisadores, docentes, discentes e profissionais de saúde em publicar em nossa revista, bem como ler, compartilhar e utilizar o conhecimento por nós veiculado. E, agradecemos a Instituição de Ensino Superior onde estamos inseridos por fornecer as bases de auxílio a este grupo de professores. There is no doubt that this is an outstanding moment for the history of the nursing course of Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras of Mandaguari (FAFIMAN). Precisely when it is commemorated 10 years of the course, the department takes on the strength and willingness to launch the Revista Paranaense de Enfermagem (REPENF). We believe that the recognition of the translational research is relevant for the improvement of the practice(1), as well as the maturity of the course and the scientific-academic formation of the faculty cooperate so that the structural bases for the creation of this vehicle of diffusion of the knowledge in the field of health and nursing can be shown. Likewise, our motivator for the creation of this magazine is the understanding that it is necessary to provide the sharing of quality evidence through scientific publications(2) . This has potential to contribute to the advancement of the profession and improve the assistance provided, when minimizing the geographical distances and the importance of borders, as well as by stimulating/encouraging the use of the most current and relevant scientific evidences in the introduction of changes that involve since aspect related to the daily practice of work, even those related to health at global level(3) . In that sense, our mission will be to foment the production and the dissemination of the knowledge of Nursing and correlate fields for the progress of the scientific knowledge and professional practice in health, through the publication of articles with high scientific merit. We will publish texts unpublished in Portuguese and English and eventually, in Spanish in the categories: Original article; of Systematic Review; Report of Experience; and Reflexive Essay. We emphasize that as a result of the strength of the scientific evidence, the contributions that are destined to publish results of original unpublished research will have priority in our publication. Starting from this first volume published in the Internet, it will be requested to the Brazilian Institute of Science and Technology Information (BISTI) the ISSN (International Standard Seria Number), which consists of an international number standardized for serial publications. This, in turn, will allow us to index in different databases, which is reflected in the dissemination of the texts published by us, reaching a larger number of readers, in Brazil and in the world. Seeking for this diffusion more globalized, since the first edition we will also count with the version in English of the articles in full. On this way, it will be possible for readers and researchers of different nationalities to have access to the information contained in the published texts, giving greater visibility to the researches carried out by us, which has potential to impact on care practice, in teaching and also in research. Finally, we reiterate that it is known that beyond a moment of joy and satisfaction for all people involved in this project with the publication of our magazine, we have at the same time, the full conviction that much work it is for coming. Thus, constant challenges wait for us. However, when there is perseverance, work in team and willingness of cooperating for the scientific progress of nursing, obstacles can be overcome one by one. We thank the interest of researchers, professors, students and professionals of health in publishing in our magazine, as well as reading, sharing and using the knowledge provided by us. And, we the Institution of Higher Education where we are inserted by supplying the bases of aid to this group of professors. We wish all take a great advantage of the Revista Paranaense de Enfermagem (REPENF).
