After the establishment of the Nation State in Mexico, the indigenous peoples managed to erect renewed schemes of sociocultural preservation, through a strong identity of resistance in relation to their ancestral practices and customs. Isolated from the rest of the population, they managed to renew their intricate schemes of social reproduction, based on the energetic impulse of their symbolic-material devices of community articulation. In this sense, their cultural resistance gained strength and relevance, since on the one hand it allowed them to reorganize themselves on a community horizon, while developing the ability to confront their aggressors. This organizational manifestation of the communal vocation of the Indian peoples is the very basis of their subsistence and their struggle to this day.

Tras el establecimiento del Estado Nación en México, los pueblos indígenas consiguieron erigir renovados esquemas de preservación sociocultural, a través de una férrea identidad de resistencia en relación de sus prácticas y costumbres ancestrales. aislados del resto de la población, lograron renovar sus intrincados esquemas de reproducción social, a partir del enérgico impulso de sus dispositivos simbólico-materiales de articulación comunitaria. En este sentido, su resistencia cultural cobro fuerza y relevancia, ya que por un lado les permitió reorganizarse en un horizonte comunitario, a la par que desarrollaban la capacidad de enfrentarse a sus agresores. Esa manifestación organizativa de vocación comunal de los pueblos indios es la base misma de su subsistencia y su lucha hasta nuestros días.
