O presente artigo tem por finalidade discutir algumas das contribuições mais recentes para a reflexão acerca da historiografia. Ocupando um papel secundá-rio na pesquisa histórica, a reflexão acerca da historiografia tendia a constituir-se em grandes repertórios de autores e títulos, problematizando insuficientemente este campo específico de pesquisa. As transformações mais recentes no campo da produção do conhecimento histórico têm, contudo, contribuído de forma relevante para uma alteração em relação a esta área específica dos estudos históricos.
The aim of this article is to discuss some of the most recent contributions for a reflection about Historiography. In the past the reflection about historiography was relegated to a second level in the historical research. The main concern was to have an enormous list of authors and titles and very little preoccupation in questioning in this specific field of research. However, recent transformations in the field of production of historical knowledge contributed relevantly for a change in this specific area of historical studies.
