Este estudo é uma revisão do perfil profissional do professor de literatura nas
últimas décadas em Portugal, em todos os nÃveis de escolaridade. Ao mesmo tempo, a
reflexão estende-se à definição da profissionalidade de todos aqueles que ensinam literatura,
num contexto em que, internacionalmente, as humanidades lutam de várias formas pela sua
sobrevivência curricular.
This study is a revision of the professional profile of the teacher of literature in the
last decades in Portugal, in all the levels of education. At the same time, the inquiry covers the
definition of the professionality of teachers of literature, in a context in which, internationally,
the humanities fight in several ways for a core curriculum survival.
