A área da saúde, nas últimas duas décadas, passou a incorporar pesadamente as tecnologias de informação
em suas práticas, tanto na administração como no ensino, na pesquisa e na assistência. Os recursos de
Telemedicina são extremamente importantes para o compartilhamento das informações e a dermatologia
se apresenta como uma especialidade que já aponta significativos êxitos com o uso da Telemedicina, nomeada
especificamente no campo como Teledermatologia. Neste cenário, a Hanseníase tornou-se um dos
principais alvos da Teledermatologia. É neste contexto que o presente trabalho se insere e possui como
objetivo estudar as informações disponibilizadas via ferramentas de Telessaúde para a prevenção, o combate
e o controle da Hanseníase. A pesquisa adota metodologias quantitativa, qualitativa e pesquisa-ação.
A estratégia de ação adotada utiliza a pesquisa na rede para identificação dos Núcleos de Telessaúde no
Brasil que ofertam serviços de Teledermatologia com foco na prevenção, no combate e no controle da
Hanseníase. Ao final do projeto, espera-se ser possível a oferta do Serviço de Teledermatologia e o Banco
de Imagens de Casos de Hanseníase no HUPAA/UFAL/EBSERH.

Resumo Inglês:

The area of the health in the last two decades started to incorporate tremendous growth in information technology including
its administration, teaching, inquiry and aid. The resources of Telemedicine are extremely important for information sharing
and dermatology presents specialities that point to significant results with the use of Telemedicine. It is known specifically in
the field as Teledermatology. In this scenery the Leprosy (Hansen's Disease) has became one of the main targets of the Teledermatology.
It is in this context that the present project is inserted and have got as general aim: Study the available informations
was seeing tools of Telehealth for the prevention, combat and the control of the Leprosy. The inquiry will adopt
methodologies quantitative, qualitative and inquiry-action. The strategy of adopted action will use inquiry in the net for
identification of the Centers of Telehealth in Brazil that offer services of Teledermatology with focus in the prevention, combat
and control of the Leprosy. By the end of the project, it’s waited to be possible the offer of the Service of Teledermatoloy and
the Image Bank of Cases of Leprosy in the HUPAA/UFAL/EBSERH.
