Resulta de uma investigação realizada com licenciados em Educação Física que atuam em diversos setores de trabalho dessa área de conhecimento. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa foi averiguar se a precarização do trabalho na Educação Física tende a distanciar os professores dos setores relacionados ao terreno pedagógico escolar. Justificou-se a investigação com suporte nas transformações ocorridas na Educação Física e no mundo do trabalho, em que se percebem mudanças no status docente, na relação entre sociedade e Educação Física, bem como é notória uma precarização do trabalho em todos os setores deste locus do saber parcialmente ordenado. O estudo foi realizado por meio de uma busca de campo, efetuada com 15 licenciados em Educação Física atuantes no Município de Iguatu - CE. O instrumento utilizado na recolha de dados foi a entrevista semiestruturada, tendo-se recorrido, para exame dos indicadores, ao método histórico dialético, pois entende-se que o citado recurso possibilita enxergar o fenômeno investigado mais a fundo, procurando descobrir o que está por trás das aparências do objeto investigado. Nos achados, percebeu-se, de maneira geral, que os licenciados estão buscando setores laborais fora do contexto escolar por motivos associados a melhores salários e afinidade com a área da saúde-fitness. Constatou-se que os professores, em sua maioria, tendem a escolher a escola como local de trabalho, unicamente por fatores ligados à estabilidade financeira.

This study is the result of an investigation carried out with graduates in physical education who work in various sectors of work in this area of knowledge. The general objective of this research was to find out if the precariousness of work in physical education tends to distance teachers from sectors related to the school pedagogical field. The investigation was justified from the transformations that occurred in Trabalho & Educação | v.31| n.1| p.83-101| jan-abr | 2022|84|physical education and in the world of work, in which changes in theteaching status, in the relationship between society and physical education are perceived, as well as, a precariousness of work in all sectors of this area of education. knowledge. The study was carried out through a field research, carried out with 15 graduates in physical education who work in the municipality of Iguatu -Ce. The instrument used in the data collection was the semi-structured interview, the dialectical historical method was used for data analysis, as it is understood that it makes it possible to see the investigated phenomenon deeper, trying to discover what is behind the appearances of the object under study. In the findings, it was noticed in general, that the graduates are looking for work sectors outside the school context for reasons associated with better salaries and affinity with the health-fitness field. It was found that the majority of teachers tend to choose the school as a preferable place of work solely due to factors related to financial stability.
