O artigo evidencia uma prática pedagógica que incorpora uma cena cotidiana de sala de aula
universitária com interpretações acerca de objetos culturais midiáticos, em especial músicas
veiculadas pela MTV1. As reflexões envolvem questionamentos trazidos pelos estudantes em
momentos da disciplina Estágio Licenciatura do Curso de Música da Universidade Federal de
Uberlândia. O interesse do estudo é compreender aspectos em que a formação inicial colabora
com a aproximação mais enriquecida entre as inquietudes dos estudantes em formação/
atuação com formas de aprender e ensinar música nos contextos atuais e diversificados do
mundo musical. Três cenários reflexivos constituem o artigo. O primeiro enfoca a MTV e os
sentidos e representações que os sujeitos constroem acerca de algumas músicas e músicos
veiculados no programa televisivo. O segundo dá ênfase às formas de aprendizagem por meio
de imitações e repetições de manifestações musicais. O terceiro sublinha a importância de
temas mobilizadores e emergentes se inserirem na discussão da formação de professores de
música. Os exames na literatura e as experiências dos sujeitos do processo educativo fundamentam
o artigo. Justifica-se o estudo na direção de revisitar a sala de aula, tecer as reflexões
dos cenários citados e procurar construir sentido mais crítico à disciplina Estágio Licenciatura
no âmbito do curso de formação inicial de professores de música.

The paper presents a pedagogical practice that incorporates a daily scene in the classroom
with academic interpretations of cultural objects media, particularly music broadcast by MTV.
The considerations involve questions brought by students in times of discipline Stage Music
Degree Course at the Federal University of Uberlandia. The interest of this study is to understand
in what respects the initial approach is working with the richer among the concerns of students
in training / practice with forms of learning and teaching music in the current contexts and
diverse world of music. Three scenarios are reflective article. The first focuses on the MTV and
the meanings and representations that individuals construct about some music and musicians
run on television. The second emphasizes the forms of learning through imitation and repetition
of musical events. The third stresses the importance of mobilizing and emerging issues falling
in the discussion of teacher of music. The exams in literature and the experiences of the subjects
in the educational process underlying the article. Justifies the study toward revisiting the
classroom, make the reflections of the aforementioned scenarios and seek to build more critical
sense of discipline within the Graduate Internship initial training course for music teachers.
