O intuito do presente trabalho é tornar inteligível o contexto atual da questão indígena no Brasil, a partir da análise da Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito (CPI) da FUNAI iniciada no ano de 2015, a mesma apresenta como consequência mais perniciosa a criminalização de antropólogas (os) questionando assim a legitimidade do saber/ fazer antropológico, bem como a autonomia e defesa dos povos indígenas enquanto sujeitos de direito. A compreensão do contexto político em que se deu início tal comissão, assim como quem são os atores interessados em sua efetivação, representam a chave para se entender o que alguns intelectuais já denominam de “teatro institucionalizado”. Jogos discursivos e de poder entre parlamentares antropólogos e instituições, colocam também em cheque os tratados assinados pelo Brasil no que tange aos Direitos Humanos, verbalizado na Constituição Federal de 1988, ao referenciar os direitos dos povos indígenas e a afirmação do país enquanto pluriétnico.
Resumo Inglês:
The purpose of this paper is to make the current context of the indigenous issue in Brazil intelligible, based on the analysis of the FUNAI Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito - CPI) initiated in 2015, which has the most pernicious consequence of the criminalization of anthropologists thus questioning the legitimacy of anthropological knowledge / making anthropology, as well as the autonomy and defense of indigenous people as subjects of law. The understanding of the political context in which this commission was initiated, as well as who are the actors interested in its implementation, are the key to understanding what some intellectuals already call "institutionalized theater." Discursive and power games among parliamentarians, anthropologists and institutions, also check the treaties signed by Brazil with regard to Human Rights, verbalized in the Federal Constitution of 1988, when referring to the rights of indigenous people and the affirmation of the country as multiethnic.
