POLÍTICA DE RESPOSTA À CRISE FINANCEIRA GLOBAL: QUESTÕES FUNDAMENTAIS PARA OS PAÍSES EM DESENVOLVIMENTO

O objetivo deste trabalho é propor políticas de resposta a diversas questões levantadas pela crise
financeira mundial, tais como a estabilização dos mercados financeiros e a necessidade de reforma
no sistema financeiro internacional. Discute-se a reforma da arquitetura financeira internacional,
com foco na prevenção e resolução de crises. Tal reforma requereria políticas imediatas e medidas
de prevenção de crises, mediante a vigilância política multilateral, um sistema internacional de
reservas e a regulação dos mercados financeiros internacionais.

Resumo Inglês:

The global financial crisis led to numerous issues, which comes to the main goal of this paper,
presenting policy responses to this issues, such as a financial markets stabilization, the for
a fundamental reform of the international financial system, among others. This is followed by a
discussion about the reform of the international financial architecture, being the crisis prevention
and the crisis intervention and resolution. This reform led to immediate policy response and crisis
prevention with multilateral policy surveillance, international reserves system and regulation of
international financial markets.
