Este trabalho discute o caráter lúdico da poesia e mostra a importância de trabalhar com o gênero em sala de aula, atentando para o aspecto fônico e as temáticas que o poema apresenta. Sabe-se que quando o poema é dedicado ao público infantil lembra um jogo ao brincar com as palavras, e o poder do jogo, do brincar no desenvolvimento infantil reforça a oportunidade que a criança tem para ressignificar o mundo externo a partir de conteúdos simbólicos, criando uma maior flexibilidade e austeridade em enfrentá-lo, fazendo destas atividades lúdicas uma grande aliada do educador. Considerando-se que para a criança, o ato de brincar é a principal atividade na infância entende-se que aquilo que a remete ao brinquedo provoca sua simpatia. Elegeu-se a poesia porque se entende que ela fala com a criança ao revelar o mundo de forma lúdica e estimular a inventividade dela, promovendo assim o exercício da imaginação. O mais importante é que a poesia, por lembrar uma brincadeira para criança, faz com que ela entre no mundo da escrita e oportunize o desenvolvimento do gosto e hábito da leitura.

This paper discusses the playfulness of poetry and shows the importance of working with gender in the classroom, paying attention to the phonic aspect and the themes that the poem presents. It is known that when the poem is dedicated to children remember a game to play with words , and the power of play, play in child development enhances the chance that the child has to reframe the external world from symbolic content , creating greater flexibility and austerity face it , doing these fun activities a great ally of the educator . Considering that for the child, the act of playing is the main activity in childhood is understood that what refers to the toy causes her sympathy. Elected to poetry because it is understood that it speaks to the child by revealing the world through play and encourage inventiveness of it, thus promoting the exercise of the imagination. The most important is that poetry, by remembering a game for children, makes her enter the world of writing and oportunize the development of taste and habit of reading.
