Pneumatologia em Lutero

O texto analisa a pneumatologia na teologia de Lutero. O objetivo do estudo é perceber a correlação da teologia do Espírito Santo em Lutero com sua teologia cristocêntrica. Em consequência do embate de Lutero com os assim chamados entusiastas, que afirmavam revelações diretas pelo Espírito Santo às pessoas, a recepção da teologia de Lutero tendeu a concentrar-se mais na cristologia em detrimento da pneumatologia. Neste estudo, busca-se destacar a centralidade da pneumatologia na teologia de Lutero, ressaltando a atuação Espírito Santo que, utilizando-se de meios criacionais, opera como “ponte” para a presentificação de Cristo pro nobis e como energia transformadora pelo amor a partir da fé do ser humano justificado.

The text analyzes pneumatology in Luther’s theology. The goal of the study is to perceive the correlation of Luther’s theology of the Holy Spirit with his Christocentric theology. As a consequence of the clash between Luther and the so-called enthusiasts, who affirmed receiving direct revelations through the Holy Spirit to the people, the reception of Luther’s theology tended to concentrate more on Christology in detriment of pneumatology. In this study we will seek to highlight the centrality of pneumatology in Luther’s theology, emphasizing the action of the Holy Spirit, which, using creational means, operates as a “bridge” to the granting of Christ as a gift pro nobis and as a transforming energy through love based on the faith of the justified human being.
