A crescente quantidade de estudos em Educação e a vertiginosa sede por publicações de cunho científico, na sociedade atual, instigam a análise do ato de se realizar pesquisas. Desse modo, este estudo tem como objetivo discutir, aspectos iniciais, sobre o ato de ‘fazer pesquisa’, no âmbito da pós-graduação em educação, fundamentando-se em autores como Sillvio S. Gamboa, Almerindo Janela Afonso, entre outros autores. Verificase a necessidade de revisar e questionar, constantemente, os procedimentos e as finalidades de uma pesquisa; além disso, evidencia-se a tamanha responsabilidade que um pesquisador precisa ter ao desenvolver uma investigação científica, visando obter um trabalho relevante e de qualidade.
Resumo Inglês:
The growing number of studies in Education and the vertiginous thirst for publications of scientific nature, in the current society, instigate the analysis of the act of conducting researches. In this way, this study aims to discuss, at the beginning, about the act of 'doing research', in the scope of postgraduate education, based on authors such as Sillvio S. Gamboa, Almerindo Janela Afonso, among other authors. There is a need to constantly review and question the procedures and purposes of a research; in addition, it is evident the great responsibility that a researcher must have when developing a scientific investigation, in order to obtain a relevant and quality work.
