O presente trabalho analisa a condição da pessoa com deiciência no sistema eleitoral brasileiro, especiicamente no estado do Ceará. Para alcançar o objetivo propõe-se explanar acerca da Convenção Internacional sobre os Direitos das Pessoas com Deiciência, bem como sobre a Lei n. 13.146, de 6 de julho de 2015 (Lei Brasileira de Inclusão da Pessoa com Deiciência, ou Estatuto da Pessoa com Deiciência). Especiicamente, o estudo tem como inalidade discorrer sobre os relexos da Lei Brasileira de Inclusão no direito eleitoral, observando os impactos das mudanças legislativas no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro. Em seguida, pretende-se veriicar o avanço no regime da incapacidade civil e como sua evolução representa verdadeira promoção do princípio da dignidade da pessoa humana. Para a execução deste trabalho foram realizadas pesquisas bibliográicas em obras no ramo do Direito e dados fornecidos pelo Tribunal Regional Eleitoral do Ceará. Finalmente, a relevância do trabalho é justamente a possibilidade de compreender a situação da pessoa com deiciência perante o sistema eleitoral, entendendo as conquistas trazidas pela legislação especializada e a necessidade de realização de políticas públicas para concretização dos direitos previstos.

his study intends to analyze the condition of the disabled person in the Brazilian electoral system, speciically in the state of Ceará. To achieve the goal it is proposed to explain about of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, as well as Law n. 13.146 of July 6, 2015 (Brazilian Law on the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, or the Statute of Persons with Disabilities). he purpose of this study is to discuss the efects of the Brazilian Inclusion Law on electoral law, noting the impacts of legislative changes in the Brazilian legal system. hen, intends to verify the progress made in the civil incapacity regime and its evolution represents the promotion of the principle of the dignity of the human person. For the implementation of this work were conducted literature searches in several works in the branch of Law and data provided by the Regional Electoral Court of Ceará. Finally, the relevance of work is precisely the possibility to understand the situation of persons with disabilities before the electoral system, understanding the achievements in the specialized legislation and the need for public policies to realize the rights envisaged
