O objetivo geral deste estudo é investigar, em âmbito global, a evolução do decrescimento e
do crescimento econômico, o conceito do modelo de desenvolvimento sustentável, a noção
do paradigma de sustentabilidade e a concretização do princÃpio da sustentabilidade na sociedade
moderna, com base na busca e no caminho da sustentabilidade como realidade ou
utopia. Os objetivos especÃficos são: estudar a evolução e os efeitos do decrescimento, do
crescimento econômico e do desenvolvimento sustentável; pesquisar o desenvolvimento e
a eficácia da sustentabilidade; investigar o direito à sustentabilidade como princÃpio jurÃdico
e novo paradigma dos sistemas jurÃdicos contemporâneos. O procedimento de pesquisa
utilizado foi de pesquisa bibliográfica nas fontes citadas no decorrer do texto, para o que se
utilizou abordagem qualitativa de análise das informações.
