O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência de Belo Horizonte – SAMU/BH é um
serviço que depende de agilidade no deslocamento para o bom atendimento aos
pacientes. Desde sua implantação em Belo Horizonte, o SAMU/BH recebeu melhorias,
informatizou-se, porém, não recebeu um tratamento baseado em GIS para melhorar os
deslocamentos e aumentar a sua eficiência. Foram aplicadas técnicas de
Geoprocessamento para analisar a posição das bases das unidades e a distribuição das
ocorrências. As bases e as atendimentos foram georreferenciados através dos softwares
MapInfo e ArcGis, segundo as informações levantadas em outubro - 2005. Os resultados
obtidos foram comparados e demonstraram a necessidade de se propor a relocação de
algumas bases do SAMU/BH, pois algumas bases distavam até 2 km do ponto ideal.
The Urgent Mobile Attending Service in Belo Horizonte SAMU/BH is a type of service that
depends on the streamlined deslocating process for a better attending service for
patients. Since its installation in Belo Horizonte, the SAMU/BH has improved through a
technology information, neverthless it has not received a good treatment based in GIS; in
order to improve this displacement and therefore intensifying its efficiency. There were
applied techniques of Geoproceeding to analyse in detail these units according especially
to the position of the whole units and the distribuition of the type of problem occurred
frequently. The basis and the attending support service got an outstanding georeference
through the softwares Mapinf and ArcGis, according to the information settled on
October-2005. The results obtained, showed and demonstrated a need in proposing a
managed track of some of the SAMU/BH basis, because some of the referred basis were
far from each other almost 2 Km, from the idealized point or area established before.
