O propósito deste artigo é apresentar o conceito e os níveis de atuação da logística, a sua relação com a fricção e a estrutura de apoio logístico da 12ª Região Militar (12ª RM) utilizada no processo de abastecimento do CFSOL/8ºBIS, visando analisar a ação da fricção no abastecimento dessa Organização Militar (OM) e dos seus PEF localizados na fronteira Brasil-Colômbia-Peru. Assim, inicialmente analisar-se-á o conceito de logística, seus níveis de atuação e o seu vínculo com a fricção na Amazônia Ocidental. A partir desse ponto, examinar-se-á a relação desses níveis de atuação com a logística executada pela 12ª RM em prol do CFSOL/8ºBIS, por meio da estrutura existente para esse fim, finalizando com a análise da ação da fricção sobre esse processo logístico. A metodologia consistirá em revisão bibliográfica e análise de conteúdo. A estrutura do texto está dividida em seis partes: análise do conceito e dos níveis de atuação da logística, a relação da fricção e a logística, a estutura logística da 12ª RM, o abastecimento executado por essa Região Militar em prol do CFSOL/8ºBIS, a ação da fricção sobre esse processo e as considerações finais.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the action of friction in supply, under the coordination of the 12th Military Region (12th RM), in favor of the Solimoes Border Command/8th Jungle Infantry Battalion (CFSOL/8th BIS), military unit located on the Brazil-Colombia-Peru border. For this, the concept of logistics and its performance levels are presented. Then, make a relationship between friction and logistics performed in that region. From that point on, it will analyze systematic employed by the 12th RM for provide the supply to this battalion and its special border platoons (PEF), using different modes of transport for military and civilian, with strategies for using the performance based logistics. Finally, this article will analyze of friction action in this logistical supply process, identifying negative factors and proposing suggestions to mitigate actions of these factors in this battalion supply, in order to ensure the maintenance of satisfactory levels of logistical security. The research was based on a literature review to delimit the concepts used and qualitative information, aiming to understand the complexity and details of the information. Thus, we seek to achieve the objective proposed for this article.
