O PASSADO É TAMBÉM, UMA FICÇÃO DO PRESENTE: HISTÓRIA E NARRATIVA

A maneira de fazer ciência, típica do século XIX com sua ânsia pelo método e pela verdade absoluta, esfacela-se em função do surgimento de novas abordagens do real, que levam em consideração a interface com outras áreas do conhecimento com vistas a abordagens que permitam acessos variados ao real. Narrativa entre outras, a história singulariza-se, no entanto, pela relação especifica que mantém com a verdade, pois ela tem, de fato, a pretensão de remeter a um passado que realmente existiu. O que pode então, a partir daí, diferenciar o enredo histórico e o enredo romanesco? Para horror daqueles que concebem a ciência como lugar de certezas, este texto reflete sobre as tensões que envolvem a narrativa histórica e a sedução eterna do exercício da criação literária sobre aqueles que lapidam a escrita da história. E como tal, escrita da história e criação literária cruzam-se neste, partilhando das veredas imagéticas de João Guimarães Rosa.

The way to do science, typical of the nineteenth century with the method and its desire for absolute truth, crumbles in light of the emergence of new approaches to real, which take into account the interface with other areas of knowledge with a view to enabling approaches varying access to the real. Among other narrative, the story distinguishes itself, however, specifies the relationship it has with the truth, as she has, in fact, the claim to refer to a past that did exist. What then can, thereafter, to differentiate the fictional historical plot and storyline? To the horror of those who conceive of science as a place of certainty, this text reflects on the tensions surrounding the historical narrative and the lure of eternal pursuit of literary works on those who polish the writing of history. As such, literary history and literary creation in this cross, sharing the paths of the image of João Guimarães Rosa.
