O artigo estuda o texto teatral Batalha de Arroz num Ringue para Dois, investigando as relações que a peça de Mauro Rasi estabelece com formas artÃsticas como o cinema e a música. Utilizo como referencial teórico o estudo da paródia proposto por Linda Hutcheon em seu livro Uma Teoria da Paródia, bem como o ensaio sobre o cômico de Henri Bergson. Perpassam no texto rasiano diversas alusões cinematográficas e operÃsticas, que foram engendradas pelo dramaturgo para acentuar o caráter cômico e patético do casal formado por Nélio e Angela. Batalha de Arroz num Ringue para Dois é um dos textos dramáticos mais significativos do Teatro Besteirol, movimento involuntário cênico de grande importância na história do teatro brasileiro da década de 1980.

The article studies the teatral text intituled Batalha de Arroz num Ringue para Dois in an investigation between the relation of the Mauro Rasi’s dramaturgical piece and the artisticals forms like cinema and music. The teoric reference in focus is A Theory of Parody by Linda Hutcheon, as well as the article about comic by Henri Bergson. It is significants when the Mauro Rasi’s text exhibits diverses allusions to cinematographic art and to opera arts with the idea to grow up the comic and the pathetic character to expose the couple Nelio and Angela. Batalha de Arroz num Ringue para Dois is one of the dramaticals texts more significativs in the Besteirol Theatre, an scenic involuntary movement of great importance in the Brazilian Theatre’s history in the period of 1980’s years.
