O drama da velhice e o papel do grupo de convivência na sociabidade humana

Este estudo aborda a dramaticidade da velhice, vivenciada e elucidada muitas vezes de forma polêmica e angustiante pelos idosos. As emoções e sentimentos que norteiam e invadem a vida dessas velhices evidenciam-se a partir de estudos os mais diversos. Tomou-se como base de análise estudos de Bosi, Papaléo Neto, Nietzsche, Zarastustra, Cassiré e Goffman. A pesquisa empírica levantou informações, através da técnica de grupo focal, de idosas que fazem parte de um grupo de convivência em Coaraci, Bahia, delimitando-se a discutir algumas dessas facetas de dramaticidade apresentadas no processo do envelhecimento. Nesse sentido, este trabalho descreve algumas subjetividades vivenciadas especificamente por mulheres velhas em torno do assunto das solidões e medos. Assim, o objetivo central que norteou este estudo foi o de identificar nas falas, sentimentos e afetos que apresentassem as velhices na vida cotidiana. Os resultados da pesquisa revelam os medos que estão fortemente demarcados nas falas das idosas em ficar só; morrer; adoecer; depender de outras pessoas. Demonstraram, ainda, o significativo papel da família em suas vidas, cuja ausência se configura em uns dos principais elementos motivadores das solidões; a necessidade de convivência com outras pessoas da mesma faixa de idade, que possuem vivência e lembranças semelhantes da vida enquanto jovens e no envelhecer; a importância e função do conviver no grupo da terceira idade, que se define pelos fenômenos e processos de sociabilidade construídos.

This study boards the drama of the old age lived and elucidated many times in a polemic and affl ictive way by the elderly people. The emotions and feelings that guide and invade the life of these oldnesses to become evidents by the divers studies. It was taken like base of analysis the studies of Bosi, Papaléo Neto, Nietzsche, Zarastustra, Cassiré and Goffman. The empiric research raised information through the focal group technic, of elderly women that make part of a companionship group in Coaraci, Bahia. This research refrains to discuss some of these facets of drama showed in the aging process. This way, this work describes some subjectivities lived specially by elderly women about the subject of lonelinesses and fears. Thus, the central aim that guided this study was to identify in the speeches feelings and affectionates that presented the agings in the daily life. The results of the research reveal the fears that are strongly demarcated in the speeches of the elderly women of remaing, staying alone, dying, becoming sick, depending on the others. They also demonstrated the signifi cative role of the family in their lives, whose absense is confi gured in one of the main causer elements of the lonelinesses; the necessity of living with other people with the same age bracket that own similar livings and remenbrances of the life while young and when they got old; the
importance and role of living in the Third Age Group, that defi ne itself by the phenomena and precesses of sociability constructed.
