O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar o discurso reacionário de defesa do projeto “Escola sem Partido”, destacando o seu caráter antipolítico e antidemocrático. O referencial teórico que orientará o estudo será a teoria política do discurso, elaborada por Ernesto Laclau e Chantal Mouffe, e o debate sobre o modelo adversarial (agonístico) de democracia, proposto por esta última. A empiria analisada será prioritariamente composta de falas dos coordenadores do movimento “escola sem partido” em audiências públicas realizadas na Câmara dos Deputados no ano de 2017. As considerações finais apontam para a necessidade de dialogar mesmo com aqueles que, a princípio, se identificam com esse discurso antidemocrático.
The present article aims to analyze the reactionary discourse that defends the project "School without Party", highlighting its anti-political and antidemocratic character. The theoretical framework that will guide the study will be the political theory of discourse, elaborated by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, and the debate on the adversarial (agonistic) model of democracy, proposed by the latter. The data analyzed will be composed mainly of speeches of the coordinators of the movement "school without party" in public hearings held in the Chamber of Deputies in the year 2017. The final considerations point to the need to dialogue even with those who, at first, identify with this antidemocratic discourse.
