O Discurso da “Cura Gay” nas Igrejas Neopentecostais

Busca-se neste artigo abordar questões sobre a homossexualidade e o posicionamento religioso de igrejas cristãs neopentecostais sobre a “cura gay”. A partir dos estudos da análise do discurso francesa dialogando com conceitos da Polêmica, iniciado pelo Círculo de Bakhtin e desenvolvida por Dominique Maingueneau (1984), que trata de discursos em embates de um mesmo tema circunscrito no mesmo Espaço Discursivo em determinada formação discursiva. Assim, esta pesquisa objetiva compreender a produção social de sentidos, realizada por sujeitos históricos, por meio da materialidade presentes na linguagem. Assim como se vê, cada vez mais a mídia tem-se tornado objeto privilegiado das investigações dos analistas de discurso, neste artigo, busca-se analisar textos da Revista Veja São Paulo, sobre “A ‘cura gay’ nas igrejas evangélicas”, e, procura-se mostrar a importância da aproximação entre análise do discurso e estudos da mídia, a fim de compreender os movimentos discursivos das condições de produção do discurso sobre a suposta cura gay pregado pelos pastores de igrejas neopentecostais que vai de encontro ao debate atual na sociedade sobre a homossexualidade.

This article aims to address questions about homosexuality and religious positioning of neo-Pentecostal Christian churches about “gay cure”. From the studies of the analysis of the French discourse, dialoguing with concepts of the Controversy, initiated by the Circle of Bakhtin and developed by Dominique Maingueneau (1984), which deals with discourses in the same circumscribed theme in the same Discursive Space in a certain discursive formation. In this research aims to understand the social production of meanings, performed by historical subjects, through the materiality present in language. As it is seen, more and more the media has become the privileged object of the investigations of discourse analysts, in this article, we seek to analyze texts of Veja São Paulo Magazine, "The 'gay cure' in evangelical churches," and , it is tried to show the importance of the approximation between discourse analysis and media studies, in order to understand the discursive movements of the conditions of discourse production on the supposed gay priest preached by the shepherds of neo-Pentecostal churches that goes against the current debate in the society about homosexuality.
