O trabalho tece considerações críticas sobre a dimensão do direito à moradia dentro do contexto das políticas públicas habitacionais. Para tanto, parte do conceito jurídico conferido ao “direito à moradia adequada” previsto pelo Comentário Geral 4 do Comitê de Direitos Econômicos, Sociais e Culturais da Organização das Nações Unidas e sua interação com a política habitacional direcionada à comunidade da Vila dos Pescadores de Jaraguá, em Maceió, Alagoas.
Resumo Inglês:
The work discourses a critic about the dimension of the housing rights in the context of housing public policy. Therefore, it starts from the legal concept given to the “right to adequate housing” provided by General Comment 4 from the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural’s Rigths and its interaction with the housing policy directed to the Vila dos Pescadores de Jaraguá, in Maceio, Alagoas.
