O CONFRONTO DO HERÓI COM O MUNDO SACRALIZADO EM O PROCESSO DE FRANZ KAFKA

Ao longo de todo o romance O processo, Franz Kafka apresenta
o confronto entre o herói Josef K. e o tribunal que o processa. Tal
confronto não se limita aos inquéritos e aos encontros diretos com a
autoridade constituída, tudo ao entorno do herói se transforma em
manifestação sacralizada do tribunal. Neste artigo delimitamos algumas
situações que demonstram a evolução da angústia do herói frente à
incompreensão do mundo, são eles: O momento da detenção em que
Josef K. procura demonstrar que é superior aos guardas e ao inspetor,
menosprezando a estrutura do processo. O encontro direto com os
membros do tribunal durante o primeiro inquérito no qual o herói procura
provar sua inocência e acusar o tribunal, enquanto começa a observar
que a realidade a sua volta não é exatamente o que ele pensava ser.
A constatação de que sua superioridade era apenas ilusória e a aceitação
da derrota frente aos membros mais inferiores do tribunal. E, por fim, a
sentença final pronunciada pelo padre da catedral, demonstrando que a
superioridade do tribunal não deve ser pensada em sentido racional,
mas por sua necessidade estrutural.

Resumo Inglês:

In the whole novel The Trial, Franz Kafka presents a confrontation
between the hero Josef K. and the trial which sues him. That confront
does not limit to the inquiry and the direct meetings with the
authority, everything around the hero becomes a manifestation of the
sacred trial. In this article we delimitate some situations that show the
evolution of the hero’s dread face the world’s lack of understanding.
They are: the moment of the arrestment, when Josef K. tries to demonstrate
that he is superior to the guards and the inspector, underestimating
the trial’s structure. The direct encounter with the court’s members
during the first inquiry in which the hero tries to prove his innocence
and to accuse the court, when he realizes that the reality around him is
not exactly like he thought it would be. The evidence that his superiority
was just an illusion is the acceptance of the defeat by the most inferior
members of the court. Finally, the final sentence pronounced by the
cathedral’s priest showing that the court’s superiority can not be thought
in a sensible way, but by its structural necessity.
