O presente trabalho faz uma avaliação instrumental dos parâmetros acústicos de frequência fundamental, intensidade e duração para investigar os graus de tonicidade no Português Brasileiro, principalmente no que concerne às diferenças entre esses correlatos acústicos nas posições tônica, pré-tônica e pós-tônica. O propósito é verificar se a posição silábica influencia esses parâmetros e se o acento relaciona-se mais com a tonicidade ou com o peso silábico.
The present work is an instrumental evaluation of the following acoustic parameters: fundamental frequency, intensity and duration and it aims at investigating the degrees of tone in the Brazilian Portuguese, especially concerning the differences among these acoustic correlates in tonic, pre-tonic and post-tonic positions. The purpose is to verify if the syllabic position influences these parameters and whether the stress relates more with the tone or the syllabic weight.
