This work presents a numerical study of the wind in hydropower plants reservoir under non neutral conditions using WRF with high resolution. The Richardson number was used to evaluate the dynamic stability. The simulations were run for Furnas reservoir, where anemometric data were available at 20 and 40 m above the surface of the water, during a one week period.  The results were encouraging.
