Remote Sensing is a geoscience research technique of great value in the regional approach to the surface of the earth, particularly in the early stages of studies prior to detailed field research. This article discloses data obtained mainly from the analysis of orbital and suborbital images, referring to morphostructural aspects, from the southern end of the Palanalto Meridional, a gaucho sector, but speciesically, from an area corresponding to the Quaraí river basin, in the municipality of Quaraí, and intends to contribute with knowledge about the geology of Gondwana in Rio Grande do Sul, useful for further field research.
