The covariance technique of turbulent vortices was used to determine latent heat fluxes and sensible heat in the vegetated culture phase. The observed results showed that the calorsensible fluxes were superior to the latent heat fluxes, possibly due to the predominant water deficiency conditions during the entire daculture cycle. The coefficient of determination found between the sum of latent heat fluxes and sensible heat with the radiation balance, indicated a good closure of the energy balance.
