A memória entendida como narratividade adentra as reflexões tanto do
campo de estudo da história quanto do da literariedade, justamente por poder ser
inscrita dentro da investigação da reconstituição e refiguração de um tempo passado.
Sob o signo do literário, ela é ainda construída nas fronteiras entre real e ficção. No
presente estudo, observaremos como Georges Perec (1936-1982) transforma a novela
A coleção particular (Un cabinet d’amateur), publicada em 1979, em um minucioso
trabalho de documentação artística sem, no entanto, perder seu caráter de ludicidade.
A literatura de Perec abre espaço para a discussão acerca da noção de história
literária e questiona os limites da potencialidade da literatura, criando e recriando o
mundo em moldes singulares, e provocando o leitor a participar também da
produtividade que é inerente ao jogo literário.

Memory when understood as Narrative permeates the reflections from
both the fields of history and literariness, precisely for allowing itself to be registered in
the investigation of the reconstitution and refiguration of a past time. Under the banner
of the literary, memory is even constructed within the boundaries of reality and fiction.
In this study, we are going to remark on how Georges Perec (1936-1982) transformed
the novel A Gallery Portrait (Un cabinet d'amateur), published in 1979, in a thorough
work of artistic documentation without losing, however, its character of playfulness.
Perec’s literary output gives way to a discussion on the notion of literary history and
questions the limits of the potentiality of literature, creating and recreating the world in
unique patterns and instigating the reader to also participate in the productivity that is
inherent to the literary game.
