O artigo objetiva analisar a maneira pela qual as demandas judiciais por alimentos promovem efetividade, como um viés de acesso à justiça, para mães-solo em situação de vulnerabilidade, no Núcleo de Práticas Jurídicas (NPJ) da UFERSA/Mossoró. A metodologia percorre uma abordagem quanti-qualitativa, com dados estatísticos confrontados com a literatura especializada, dialogando ainda com dados internos do NPJ. Por sua vez, é do tipo bibliográfica, perpassando referenciais teóricos sobre a temática. Concluiu-se a existência de um grupo de mulheres pretas ou pardas, com baixo nível de escolaridade e em vulnerabilidade econômica que necessitam do NPJ para acessar o Judiciário.
The aim of this article is to analyze the way in which legal claims for maintenan-ce are effective, as a means of access to justice, for vulnerable single mothers at the UFERSA/Mossoró Legal Practice Center (NPJ). The methodology takes a quantitative--qualitative approach, with statistical data compared to specialized literature, and also dialogues with internal data from the NPJ. In turn, it is of the bibliographical type, going through theoretical references on the subject. It was concluded that there is a group of black or brown women with low levels of education and economic vulnerability who need the NPJ to access the judiciary.
