A Guerrilha do Araguaia foi um evento de confronto contra a ditadura civil-militar brasileira que durou de 1972 a 1975, ocorrida no Norte do Brasil. Mediante exposto, este artigo possui como objetivo principal examinar este evento e sua reprodução na Literatura do Testemunho, detidamente no gênero conto, escrito sobre os reflexos da memória, do trauma e da história oral dos camponeses afetados pela Guerrilha do Araguaia. Metodologicamente tratar-se-á de uma pesquisa qualitativa a partir de uma revisão histórica e bibliográfica. Como resultado de pesquisa, constatamos que a memória é uma fonte de mobilização das reminiscências através da cultura oral, fortemente reverberada na produção literária.

The Guerrilha do Araguaia was a confrontational event against the Brazilian civil - military dictatorship that lasted from 1972 to 1975, which took place in northern Brazil. In view of the above, this article aims to examine this event and its reproduction in the Literature of the Testimony, carefully in the short story genre, written about the reflections of memory, trauma and oral history of peasants affected by the Guerrilha do Araguaia. Methodologically, it will be a qualitative research based on a historical and bibliographic review. As a result of research, we found that memory is a source of mobilization of reminiscences through oral culture, strongly reverberated in literary production.
