O presente artigo destina-se à discussão sobre a interdependência entre os conceitos de língua, cultura e identidade, ressaltando que tais conceitos estão intrinsecamente ligados, haja vista que a cultura se constitui e se difunde por meio da língua e que é também por meio dela que ocorrem os processos de identificação do sujeito. Nesse sentido, a língua perpassa tanto a cultura quanto a identidade e é também por elas perpassada, o que faz com que a relação entre estes três conceitos seja imanente, uma vez que não há cultura sem língua e que a identidade se constrói por meio da língua e da cultura.
This article is intended for discussion of the interdependence between the concepts of language, culture and identity, stressing that such concepts are inextricably linked, given that culture is constituted and diffused through language and it is also through its occurring processes of identification of the subject. Accordingly, the language involves both culture and identity and is also crossed by them, which makes the relationship between these three concepts immanent, since there is no culture without language and that identity is constructed by means of language and culture .
