This article analyses and rethinks the connections built between the classical historiography
and the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, emphasizing the problematic in the structures of the
book Bellum Judaicum. This exercise intends to debate the complex intellectual relations that
took place in the Roman Mediterranean.
