Resumo Português:

Os estudos no campo da História da
Educação foram gradualmente se expandindo
e inserindo em suas temáticas
diversos objetos que antes não eram
foco de análise dos historiadores da
educação. Em Sergipe, percebemos o
crescimento das pesquisas na área com
as produções do NPGED, inicialmente
com as contribuições do mestrado e
ainda em fase de andamento, com o
doutorado. Entre o leque de temáticas
pesquisadas está à trajetória de docentes.
Nesse contexto, o presente estudo destaca
o professor José Calasans Brandão
da Silva que atuou como docente em
instituições de ensino sergipanas e em
outras instituições de 1937 a 1947. Ao
estudar a trajetória do indivíduo é fundamental
visualizá-lo dentro do espaço
de atuação, pois suas atitudes não são
isoladas do modo de ser, pensar e agir.

Studies in the field of history of education
were gradually expanding and
entering in its various thematic objects
that before were not the focus of
analysis of historians of education. In
Sergipe, realize the growth of research
in the area with NPGED productions,

doctorate. Among the range of subjects
