INTRODUÇÃO À ONTOLOGIA DE ANNE CONWAY

Este artigo pretende investigar o pensamento da filósofa moderna Anne Conway. Nosso interesse nesta pensadora dar-se pela sua postura crítica na modernidade, especificamente do século XVII, que antecipa o pensamento de Leibniz. Neste intuito, o objeto deste artigo é destacar os pontos fundamentais da ontologia de Anne Conway. Assim, apresentamos um panorama geral e o contexto em que Anne Conway apresenta sua ontologia. Em seguida apresentamos os aspectos fundamentais da obra de Anne Conway, intitulada Princípios da Filosofia mais Antiga e Moderna. No primeiro momento do nosso artigo discutimos a figura de Deus no texto de Conway acima citado. No segundo momento apresentamos a figura das criaturas criadas por Deus na perspectiva desenvolvida por Conway em seu texto acima citado. No último momento apresentamos a crítica de Anne Conway a partir dos elementos que anteriormente foram apresentados no seu texto. Ao fim deste artigo, esperamos que o leitor tenha compreendido os aspectos fundamentais da filosofia de Anne Conway.

This article aims to investigate the thinking of modern philosopher Anne Conway. Our interest in this thinker is given by her critical posture in modernity, specifically of the seventeenth century, which anticipates Leibniz's thinking. In this sense, the object of this article is to highlight the fundamental points of Anne Conway's ontology. Thus, we present an overview and the context in which Anne Conway presents her ontology. Below we present the fundamental aspects of Anne Conway's work entitled “Principles of the Oldest and Modern Philosophy”. In the first moment of our article we discussed the figure of God in the above quoted Conway text. In the second moment we present the picture of the creatures created by God in the perspective developed by Conway in his above quoted text. At the last moment we present Anne Conway's critique from the elements that were previously presented in her text. By the end of this article, we hope the reader has understood the fundamental aspects of Anne Conway's philosophy.
