Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa que teve como objetivo compreender a
concepção dos professores em relação às interações e brincadeiras na Educação Infantil, numa
instituição pública do municÃpio de Sinop, Mato Grosso. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa,
embasada nos teóricos Lev Vygotsky e Tizuko Kishimoto. Verificamos que, apesar dos
esforços da instituição para se adequar a legislação pertinente em vigor e de haver a
compreensão de que as interações e as brincadeiras são atividades eficazes para o
desenvolvimento da criança, há problemas de infra-estrutura e recursos didáticos para o
atendimento das necessidades das crianças.
