Este trabalho busca apresentar uma análise concisa do atual estágio do processo de integração regional na América Latina, considerando suas fragilidades e propondo possÃveis alternativas. Neste contexto, pretende-se avaliar a aplicabilidade do conceito de “desenvolvimento integrado†nas polÃticas da região, bem como o papel do Estado e da iniciativa privada na concepção de uma estratégia eficiente de integração regional.

This work aims to present a brief analysis of the current level of the regional integration process in Latin America, considering its fragilities and proposing possible alternatives. On this context, this article intends to evaluate the applicability of the concept of “integrated development†on the politics of the region, as well as the role of the State and the private sphere on the conception of an efficient strategy of regional integration.
