Contemporâneo das duas maiores revoluções cientÃficas do inÃcio
do século XX, a Teoria da Relatividade e a Mecânica Quântica, o
pintor espanhol Salvador Dalà (1904-1989) procurou retratar o
sentimento vivido pela humanidade daquela época frente às novas
formas de ver o mundo. Este trabalho procura revisitar algumas
de suas obras a partir de um olhar pedagógico de forma a identificar
elementos e idéias relacionados à FÃsica Moderna presentes
nas mesmas. Com esta proposta busca-se uma aproximação entre
ciência e arte, ressaltando-se o entendimento da ciência como cultura
humana, e pretende-se contribuir para um ensino interdisciplinar
de FÃsica Moderna no nÃvel médio e na formação de professores.
The painter Salvador Dalà (1904-1989), who is contemporaneous
of the two most important scientific revolutions of the beginning of
the 20th century, the Relativity Theory and the Quantum
Mechanics, tried to show the feeling lived by humanity of that time
in opposition of the new ways of seeing the world. This research
revisits some of his works from a pedagogical point of view that
tries to identify elements and ideas related to the Modern Physics
which can be found in some of his works. With this proposal, we
try to find out how to approximate Science and Art, regaining the
Science understanding as human culture and contributing
indeed to an interdisciplinary teaching of Modern Physics in High
School and in the teachers' formation.
