The essential oil of the Aniba duckei Kostermans collected in thereservation forest Adolfo ducke (Manaus), in the differentseasonal stations,it was extracted by hydrodistillation using Clevenger equipment. Thepresent work describes the seasonal variation of the essential oil, the linaloolcontent contained in the leaves, the physical and chemical characterizationof the essential oil, the statistical analysis of yield and l content of linaolcontained in the species. The medium yield of the oil in the leaves was of1,84% in the dry period. The majority component of the oil linalol (76,69%),it was identified by the analysis through CG and CG-IN.
