Trata-se de um estudo sobre a intervenção do homem nas nuvens para a indução de chuvas. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar qualitativamente as publicações que versem sobre o exercício da atividade de semeadura de nuvens com a finalidade de demonstrar a expansão na utilização da técnica de semeadura de nuvens e os riscos inerentes a este avanço. Após tecer algumas considerações sobre a semeadura de nuvens, será proposta uma delimitação principiológica da atividade tendo como base princípios de Direito ambiental. Para a pesquisa foi utilizado o método da pesquisa bibliográfica, com técnica dedutiva. Ao final, constata-se a grande expansão mundial na utilização da semeadura de nuvens e o risco de conflitos nacionais e internacionais decorrentes do uso desregrado da técnica.

This is a paper about the man's intervention in the clouds for the induction of rainfall. The objective of this work is to qualitatively analyze the publications that deal with the exercise of cloud seeding activity with the purpose of demonstrating the expansion in the use of cloud seeding technique and the inherent risks of this advance. After some considerations on cloud seeding, a delimitation of the activity will be proposed based on principles of environmental law. For the research was used the method of bibliographic research, with deductive technique. At the end, it's proven the great worldwide expansion in the use of cloud seeding and the risk of national and international conflicts resulting from the unregulated use of the technique
